Greeting Cards, Classes are held at the Uniting Church Hall, next to the Church.
The tutor is Daphne Freeman.
You can learn how to create your own personalised cards.
You can design cards to suit the season, i.e.. Christmas or Easter.
You may have a "Special Someone" to whom you want to give a "Thank You" or "Congratulations" card.
Classes start at 1.00pm on Thursdays.
Painting
We farewelled our long-standing Watercolours Tutor, Phil Cawthan at the end of 2023. We welcome a new Tutor, Rosanna Hawes, for our 2024 classes.
Rosanna is a visual artist with a BA in English and History, a BA in Visual Art as well as an Advanced Diploma in Visual Art from TAFE, and has over 30 years graphic design and commercial marketing communications experience. Conversant with a wide range of art studio techniques and skills in a range of mediums, Rosanna’s professional watercolour practice is underpinned by observational drawing and centres on botanical art and portraiture, exploring expressive form, line and colour. In addition, Rosanna has training and teaching qualifications and likes to foster a friendly and cooperative learning environment.
Rosanna will be tutoring (Two Classes
Painting for Pleasure , Ginny Tucker is now the Acting Class Convenor. The informal Painting for Pleasure Class will commence at 1.00pm Fridays, as previously.
This class allows students to enjoy the company of fellow enthusiasts, using the medium of your choice.
Group members are encouraged to explore their creativity by sharing knowledge and skills.
Classes are held at the Uniting Church (Annexe): on Fridays at 1.00 pm.
Class members are required/encouraged to bring their own materials for the class.

- A class catering for experienced painters: Uniting Church (Annexe): Fridays at 11.00am, with m/tea at 10.30am
