French Beginner
Tutor: Marie-Andrée Searl
Anglican Church (Back of Church) Tuesdays at 9.30am to 11.00am
Bonjour!
My name is Marie-Andrée from the sunny region of Provence, Marseille France.
I came to Australia with friends for a holiday more than 30 years ago. It took me a year to do all the necessary paperwork to migrate to Australia from France.
I studied a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in French and Ancient History at the University of New England in Armidale NSW. I also studied a Graduate Diploma in Education, also in Armidale where I spent 10 very happy years.
The alliance Française of Armidale gave me the opportunity to teach French to people of all ages throughout the community.
I spent my career teaching French in public schools across NSW and then moved to Cairns for several years, before moving to Brisbane just before the COVID-19 lockdown.
Voila! A bientôt!

German Beginners
Tutor: Adrienne Sinzig.
Guten Tag! Hallo!
My name is Adrienne Sinzig, originally from Switzerland, I traded my primary school classroom for a new adventure in Australia 25 years ago, arriving with my husband to embrace a fresh start. Today, I'm happily settled in Brighton, finding joy in exploring the area on walks and bicycle rides, and keeping fit with yoga and Pilates. My curiosity also keeps me busy learning Italian, and I love helping others by tutoring German.
Therefore I hope to see you soon in the German Beginners class!
Auf Wiedersehen! Tschüss!
